FAMILY LAW REPORT WRITING SERVICES
Our family law reports aim to provide thorough, clear, and balanced information to support families and courts in making informed decisions during sensitive family law matters. Each report is customized to reflect the unique circumstances of the family and ensure that the best interests of the child remain central to the process.
We offer three types of reports tailored to your family's specific needs:
Non-Evaluative Reports (Hear the Child)
A Hear the Child Report focuses solely on gathering and reporting the child’s expressed views. It is non-evaluative, meaning no professional opinion or analysis is included. The primary goal is to clearly and accurately document the child's perspective on living arrangements and other relevant concerns. This report is typically suitable when:
-
The child is generally eight years or older.
-
Parents and the court wish to hear the child's direct perspective without analysis or recommendations.
Evaluative Reports (Views of the Child)

A Views of the Child Report includes the child's expressed views as well as an evaluation on critical matters, such as:
-
Parent-child contact problems.
-
External influences on the child's perspectives.
-
The child's understanding of their expressed views.
This type of report involves multiple interviews and provides a more comprehensive analysis to help families and courts make informed decisions regarding custody and parenting plans.
Full Section 211 Reports

A comprehensive Section 211 Report, guided by the Family Law Act, provides a thorough assessment focused on the child’s best interests. It includes:
-
Individual interviews with parents and the child(ren).
-
Observations of parent-child interactions.
-
Reviews of relevant documentation and collateral interviews with professionals such as teachers, counsellors, and medical providers.
-
Assessment of allegations or concerns regarding family violence, abuse, or neglect, if applicable.
Our process strives to offer families fair, balanced, and thorough assessments to assist the courts and families in making informed, child-centred decisions.
